Material library
What each material does well, how it weathers, and where it belongs. Every quotation ships with the physical sample board for the materials on your line sheet — no guessing from a photo.
Powder-Coated Aluminum
Lightweight, rust-proof and dimensionally stable — aluminum is the contract-grade default for frames that need to hold shape for a decade outdoors. Powder-coat finish accepts any RAL color, so frames can match a building facade rather than the other way around.
FSC Teak
Grade-A, kiln-dried teak from FSC-certified sources. Left untreated it weathers to an even silver-grey patina with no loss of structural strength; oiled periodically, it holds its honey-brown tone instead. Either way, the wood itself doesn't rot, warp or need replacing.
Synthetic Rope
Olefin rope, rated for 3,000 hours of direct UV exposure, hand-wrapped over an aluminum frame. Delivers the woven, tactile look of natural rope without the mildew or rot risk — a common upgrade for lounge and dining chairs that see daily contact.
Performance Fabric
Solution-dyed acrylic — Sunbrella® and equivalent mills — in 200+ colorways. The color runs through the fiber itself rather than sitting on top of it, which is why it holds through years of direct sun where standard dyed polyester fades within a season.
HDPE Weave
High-density polyethylene woven over an aluminum frame — the rattan look, engineered so it never rots, splits or needs re-weaving. The most common substitution when a design calls for a wicker aesthetic in a piece that has to survive outdoors year-round.
Cane & Bamboo
Natural cane and bamboo weaving in 60+ patterns, plus all-weather synthetic versions of the same patterns for fully exposed settings. Natural material reads warmer and more tactile; synthetic holds the same look under direct sun and rain with zero maintenance.
Sintered Stone
An engineered stone surface built for outdoor exposure — heat, stain and UV resistant, with the visual weight of natural stone at a fraction of the maintenance. The standard choice for dining and coffee table tops on contract-grade programs.
Tempered Glass
Safety-rated tempered glass for tops, screens and louvered elements — engineered to fracture into small, blunt pieces rather than sharp shards if it ever breaks, the standard specification for any outdoor surface in a public or family setting.
