Hotel & Resort Outdoor Furniture Guide

Resort furniture runs outdoors in salt air and full sun for years without a season off — durability and phased logistics matter as much as design.

What to look for
01
Salt-air & UV resistance Coastal resorts need marine-grade aluminum or teak and solution-dyed fabric as a baseline — standard residential-grade materials corrode or fade within a year.
02
Phased delivery Furnishing a resort in phases around low season or a renovation window avoids disrupting occupied rooms and revenue.
03
Scale durability Confirm wind ratings and structural warranty terms at the quantities you're ordering — a spec that's fine for 10 units can behave differently at 500.
04
Brand consistency OEM/private-label programs put your brand on labels, cartons and care guides so guest-facing pieces read as yours, not a supplier's.
05
After-sales program A resort can't wait weeks for a replacement part — confirm spare-parts stock and response-time commitments before signing.
→ PalmaYard tip — Ask for a case study from a property in a similar climate zone — a supplier's desert-resort references don't tell you much about a coastal install.
